Servo Motors

Nanotec offers BLDC motors with protection class IP65 in four sizes. All motor series are equipped with a magnetic incremental encoder which is insensitive to rugged industrial environments and requires no additional Hall sensors.

The SM Series brushless servo motors feature a slotless stator design. This design eliminates all detent torque in the motor, allowing the SM Series motors to provide extremely smooth motion, especially at low speeds. The slotless design also creates a higher rotor inertia, which is ideal for applications involving high inertial loads (such as lead screws and belt drives).

The MPP (MaxPlusPlus) Series is the industry’s highest performing servo motor. Utilizing eight-pole segmented lamination technology, the MPP produces more torque in a shorter package. Use MPP motors for higher torque applications, customization options, or when high performance is required.

The MPJ (MaxPlus-J) Series of rotary servo motors from Parker features the same design characteristics as the MPP, but with 3 - 8 times the inertia of the standard MPP. This is a perfect solution for your applications requiring a high inertia servo motor. 

The Kit Motor Approach: Reliable and Compact

Frameless Kit Motors are the ideal solution for machine designs that require high performance in small spaces. Kit Motors allow for direct integration with a mechanical transmission device, eliminating parts that add size and complexity. Use of Frameless Kit Motors results in a smaller, more reliable motor package.

Direct Drive

Direct drive motors provide higher dynamic stiffness by eliminating the compliance of shaft attachments. Direct drive motor construction gives equipment designers the advantages of lowered costs, increased reliability and improved performance. Frameless Kit Motors are the most cost effective direct drive motor solutions available. Kit motors save space in applications because the couplings, motor mounting brackets and extra bearings you would find in coupled drive construction are eliminated

The BE Series is designed specifically as a very cost-effective alternative to comparably sized servos. The BE Series also provides exceptional torque with the design’s increased number of magnetic poles. Comparably sized servos have four magnetic poles on the rotor, while BE Series motors have eight.
